Claims 101

At Unique Deliveries our priority is to ensure that the items you store with us are in mint condition from the moment we receive them, to the moment we deliver and install them in their final destination. That is why we take a great amount of time inspecting each item when it comes to our warehouse.

In the case we do receive damaged goods we’ll complete a damaged inspection report and email you all the documentation that you will need to complete the freight claim.  We always keep the original packaging,as the freight companies require this. Included in the email will be a pictures and a completed damaged inspection report.

In the event that you need additional assistance, we will gladly help you and make sure the items are taken care of in a timely manner. You then will have 72 hours to file a freight claim with the freight company.

And, of course, we have a great customer service department to keep you updated throughout the entire process!

Unique Deliveries does not handle freight claims because we are not authorized to make decisions on your behalf.  Simply follow the steps below and you are on your way!

  1. Call and let your furniture representative or freight company know about the issue immediately.
  2. Email the documentation so they can proceed with getting the info to the correct person.
  3. Follow up with your representative within 48 hours if you haven’t been assigned a claim number.
  4. Relax and let the Freight company take it from there.
